The winter months of November through February produce the single best conditions. The air is cool and clear, the blue-hour sky is a deep cobalt that contrasts perfectly with the amber floodlights, and the festival season (Diwali in October–November, Christmas in December) adds festive lighting across the city. The summer months (April–June) are manageable but uncomfortable by 8:00 PM; monsoon (July–September) can be dramatically beautiful, though rain is a consideration.
