Post check-in, spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can visit the Amo Chuu Crocodile Breeding Center and the beautiful Torsa Riverside to relax. Today, you will be exploring the best attractions in the capital city of Bhutan. Visit the National Memorial Chorten, built in honour of the late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Continue to the largest Buddha Statue and enjoy beautiful views of the Thimphu Valley. Next, continue to the Motithang Takin Preserve and the Tashichho Dzong. Later, visit the Simtokha Dzong and the beautiful Handicrafts Emporium. Afterwards, you'll be driven back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After check-out, you'll be driven to Punakha. On your way, take a stop at the Dochula Pass and enjoy the stunning views of the higher Himalayas. Today, you'll be taken on a day trip to Gangtey. Begin your trip and visit the serene Phobjikha Valley, famous for the black-necked cranes. Get ready for a trek to the Taktsang Monastery and you'll be taken to Satsam Chencho Tshongkhang. Enjoy a 2-hour horse ride passing by the pine forest & prayer flags, to the monastery viewpoint.
